AIDA 3 – Advanced

Target Audience: This course is intended for freedivers who have successfully completed the AIDA 2 Freediver course (or an equivalent certification) and wish to advance their abilities. Participants should be comfortable diving to depths of at least 12 meters and possess a solid foundation in freediving techniques and safety procedures. The minimum age requirement is typically 18 years, or 16 with parental or guardian consent.

Description: The AIDA 3 – Advanced Freediver course builds upon the fundamentals acquired in previous levels, focusing on enhancing efficiency, breath control, and mental strategies for deeper dives. Participants will learn advanced techniques such as free falling and the Frenzel equalization method, improve their static and dynamic apnea performance, and develop comprehensive safety and rescue skills. The course typically spans three to four days and includes theory sessions, confined water training, and open water dives, aiming to increase depth capability to between 24 and 30 meters.
