
AIDA 1- Introduction to Freediving
Target Audience: The “AIDA 1 – Introduction to Freediving” course is designed for complete beginners interested in exploring freediving. It’s ideal for individuals who want to develop basic skills, knowledge, and safety procedures necessary to enjoy freediving safely within the limits of their experience. Participants should be at least 18 years old (or 16 with parental consent) and able to swim at least 100 meters non-stop.
Description: This introductory course provides foundational knowledge of freediving, covering essential topics such as proper breathing techniques, relaxation methods, finning techniques, duck dives, and equalization. Students will learn about the necessary equipment, safety protocols, and the physiological aspects of breath-hold diving. The course typically includes theory sessions, confined water practice, and open water dives, allowing participants to apply learned skills in a controlled environment.
